Wonderfontein Colliery — dump removal and rehabilitation support

TauSadi Mining and Engineering

Stated contract value: R29.7 million (VAT basis not supplied)

TauSadi was awarded a dump-removal contract at Wonderfontein Colliery in March 2023. The scope covered loading, hauling and placing topsoil, soft material and blasted hard material into voids or levelled areas in accordance with the mine's rehabilitation design and scheduling. The work also included maintenance of the haul roads used for the assignment. The client reference describes a truck-and-shovel fleet supported by dozers and auxiliary equipment, including water, grading and diesel-support equipment.

TauSadi Mining and Engineering

TauSadi's reference information includes topsoil loading, hauling and placement at Tweefontein. The assignment contributes relevant experience in the controlled movement and placement of material within a mining environment.

Glencore rehabilitation assignments — Zaaiwater, BMSE and Kliplaat

TauSadi Mining and Engineering

Average monthly work requirement: 150,000 cubic metres per month

TauSadi's rehabilitation experience includes dozing at Zaaiwater from November 2018 to November 2020. A subsequent Glencore reference also records work at Tweefontein Boschmans Southeast and Kliplaat in the two years preceding February 2024. The letter describes the use of D10 and D11 dozers and an average monthly dozing requirement of 150,000 cubic metres under the purchase order.
